The Booster Camp detects and investigates risk factors, providing personalized solutions to regain optimum energy, bring personal insight and confidence for how to manage today’s ever-challenging business world and “learn to master” when their mind, body and emotions feels “right” and when they do not. This is an invaluable skill to have and do intentionally and consciously for staying on top of sustainable healthy performance.

The Booster Camp determines, through set of state-of-the-art assessments, the clients present state, provides engaging feedback, action training and treatments to meet personal needs by conducting:

  • Personal health and performance assessments.
  • Purpose driven workshop on mission specific topics to deepen the understanding and importance of healthy performance, active recovery and preventing health risks from happening.
  • Personal feedback, recommendations, and development of a personal tools and action plan.

The Booster Camp is conducted at the company for a group to optimize time, or for individuals at a dedicated location

Early Burnout

Early Burnout, or as we also refer to it, Over-Effort Syndrome (OES), is a form of a maladaptive behavioural physiology response pattern. It’s a state of physical, mental and emotional exhaustion. The curve below shows that when we reach optimal performance, an instant refueling of energy is required.

But instead, as we are under performance demand, we are a pushed further by the mental drive of wanting to do more, and we accept doing more by ignoring physiological signs to stop and recover before moving on. We all know that pressure has a positive impact on performance until it reaches the point of fatigue where it becomes destructive. The paradox is that we enter a state of overactivity following the curve of intended performance until it breaks down into exhaustion.

If Active Recovery is not followed, the outcome is a steep, destructive downslope into over-effort and early burnout.

OES has a similarity to athletes who experience over-training syndrome (OTS) upon where they do too much, too hard for too long without recovery. Over-training syndrome (OTS) occurs when an athlete doesn’t adequately recover after repetitive intense training.

Side effects of this can include prolonged general fatigue, increased tension, depression, anger and confusion, inability to relax, poor quality sleep and a lack of energy with decreased motivation and engagement.
