This privacy policy explains how ARA.health Sàrl (“ARA Health”, “we”) processes personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Visiting this website

When you open this website, your browser automatically transmits technical data that is needed to deliver it: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the page you came from, and information about your browser and operating system. Our hosting provider processes this data to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable, and deletes or anonymises it after a short period. We do not use this data to identify you.

3. Visitor statistics

To understand how the website is used, we use the visitor statistics built into our hosting service. They show aggregated figures: number of visits and page views, bounce rate, visit duration, traffic sources, device type and country (derived from the time zone of your browser). According to the provider, the statistics measure overall traffic; they do not build profiles of individual visitors or follow them across visits. We do not use the statistics for advertising.

4. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for advertising or for tracking individual visitors. Our hosting provider may use technically necessary cookies or similar technologies to deliver the website securely.

5. Hosting and service providers

This website is hosted by Lovable Labs Incorporated, 1 Lincoln St, Boston, MA 02111, USA, which delivers it through a global content delivery network and also sends the contact form enquiries to us by email. Emails to us are processed by our email provider Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland. IT service providers who build and maintain the website on our behalf may have access to technical data. These providers process personal data only on our behalf and according to our instructions.

6. Contact form and email

When you click “See my next step”, the contact form sends us your name, work email, company, your answers to the five questions and your message. The website does not store the enquiry; it forwards it to our mailbox info@ara.health as an email, with your address as the reply address. We also receive the information you send when you write to us directly by email.

We use this data to answer your enquiry, to assess whether ARA Health fits your organisation and, if you wish, to arrange a call. The next step shown to you is a suggestion calculated from your answers; it is not a decision about you. Please do not send us health information about identifiable persons by email.

7. 60-second Performance Check

The Performance Check and the check-in demo with the energy and recovery dials run entirely in your browser. Your answers and your result are not transmitted to us or to third parties and are not stored; they are gone when you close or reload the page. The check is a self-assessment, not a diagnosis.

8. Images, video and fonts

All images, the hero video and the fonts are delivered from our own website. No content is loaded from third-party servers such as font or image services.

9. Links to other websites

This website links to other websites, for example our programme film on YouTube, Chris Christiansson’s profile on LinkedIn, and further ARA Health pages such as the Wellbeing & Energy Test and the online workshop. No data is sent to these websites before you click a link. Once you follow it, the privacy policy of the respective website applies.

10. Disclosure abroad

Our hosting provider is based in the USA, and its content delivery network may process data in other countries. Where personal data is disclosed to a country without adequate data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, in particular the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) recognises.

11. Legal basis under the GDPR

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating a secure and user-friendly website and in understanding how it is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

12. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. Enquiries are deleted once they have been dealt with and no further relationship follows, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

13. Your rights

You have the right to request information about your personal data, to have incorrect data corrected, to have data deleted, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a common electronic format. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, please write to info@ara.health.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch), in the European Union with the authority in your country of residence.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. This website is delivered over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
